And so we arrived safe, sound and utterly exhausted, but what an adventure just getting here! (Who needs a zoo when you have the LAX??.. or any other airport for that matter?!)
**Jason and I completely extatic about our arrival! Can you tell??? :)
**Part of Italy from a birds eye view..
After we landed in Rome, Italy and figured out what the beans we were doing and where in the world (of Rome) we were going, we got our train ticket -- train was about an hour late.. apparently the train conductors like to go on strike more often than not in Europe-- and rode it on through to our destination.. whatever stop that was. :) After the lovely train ride through the inner workings of Rome and a bit of walking (in search of our "home" for the evening), we eventually found ourselves a hostel ("Hostel Yellow"), grabbed a bite to eat (almost literally.. food portions are NOT like what we Americans are used to), and explored the Roman Baths as well as the Museo Nazionale Romano (thanks for the suggestion uncle Leonard!).
**Roman Baths
**Bath
**Museum Armor
**Museum Statue
Jet lag has gotten the best of us tho... 9 hours ahead of "our" time!
Our 6pm bed time is on the horizon, so Im soon calling it quits for my first entry!
At this point I already have a tone of pictures, but my net time is limited (plus Im using an Italian laptop, so the keys are all confunkled!.. makes it interesting to get a thought out without having them turn out like gibberish) So they will come at a later date!
Until next time... when in Rome... or Pisa or Milan!!!
Good night!
