Good morning Italy!

(At the Roman Baths yesterday...)

Man oh man!... And thats just the understatement of the morning!

A broken nights sleep was what made up night number one, but getting up at 430am to watch the sunrise atop a castle ("Piazza del Popolo") overlooking the city easily made up for that!

HOSTEL EXPERIENCE- First timer :)
So for those of you who have not stayed in hostels before.. well.. it is definitely an experience! (At least as this being my first time, its definitely been just that!) We lucked out being able to find a clean one; however, you definitly pay for the "cleanliness" factor (34£) which is roughly $40! Ah well, it was a place to sleep other than the streets!.. and When in Rome, you do NOT wanna sleep there!
The "topper" of the hostel stay was that I shared a room with 5 (half-naked) guys from all over the world! (one was actually from San Diego believe it or not!) And yes, some of you ladies might think that thats awesome!... but not so much.. Darn boys were all leaving the toilet seat up! haha! What have their mothers taught them.. or not taugt them? :) Really it wasnt so bad, I was just eeeeeeextra careful, trying to give them their privacy and keep mine! Again tho, its part of the experience. We were lucky enough to have a clean shower :)

TODAYS AGENDA:
We are off to see the Colosseum, the Vatican, St Peters Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and perhaps some more who knows what.. But itll be wonderful Im sure!!!
More posts to come...
